This week we will be writing a poem that can be put forward for this year’s St David’s Day Bard competition. We will be looking at the poem ’Seven Lies’ which is about trees. We will take the structure and idea behind this poem to write seven lies about something Welsh! I would like you to think and talk about the possible lies you could tell about some of the following themes:
· The Welsh rugby team
· Cardiff City Football Club
· Leeks
· Daffodils
· Castell Coch
· The Welsh flag
Have lots of fun talking about the themes and inventing the lies! I can’t wait to hear about them!
